Spotify is the easiest way to share and discover music, and we love that it’s free and ad-supported, allowing artists to create and maintain great music for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great platform to build your library from scratch, and its app is very useful for on-the-go listening and discovery, whether you’re driving, running, working or chilling out at home.
So we’ve got good news, as today we’re introducing Spotify Connect, a service which will let you play music from Spotify directly from your Android device (including iPhone, Windows Phone and Chromebook).
How to share your Spotify playlist on Mobile
You will see that it is quite simple once you are familiar with the steps to share.
1 If you open the app on your phone, tap on Your Library at the bottom, and you will be able to share the playlist.
2 You can choose whether you want to share it with others or not. On the left-hand side, you can see three dots.
3 You can select Share by scrolling down the menu. You can choose one of the options in the list to share your playlist.
4 If you follow the steps on the screen, you’ll be able to send your Playlist. Before you can complete the process, you may need to log into the platform that you have chosen.
Note: If you click the More icon, you can Airdrop your playlist or send it using other apps that don’t show up in the share menu.

Share Spotify playlist on Desktop
1. Open the Spotify Desktop.
2. Go to the playlist you want to share.
3. Click on the (…) three dots on the screen.
4. Now, you need to tap on Share button.
5. A popup box will appear. Click on the Copy link.
6. Paste the link into your browser.
7. You’ll be able to play the playlist on your computer, phone, or any other device with the Web Player.

Share Spotify playlist from Mac App
In order to share a Spotify playlist, you must first download the Spotify app on your Mac. Once you have done this, you can then click on the Spotify icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen. Then, you can either drag and drop the playlist onto the Spotify app or select the “share” option at the bottom of the screen. This will open up a dialogue box where you can name your playlist and choose the type of sharing that you would like to do.
Bonus Tips and Tricks
Here’s a bonus tip that you’ll want to consider when making playlists. If you have a set of songs that you listen to over and over again, you can create playlists in Spotify that will automatically update every week, every month, or any other interval you choose. This is a fantastic time-saving tactic that I wish I had thought of sooner. The first thing I’m going to do is add a few music genres to my library. If you use Spotify, there are some great music genres that I recommend including on your playlist.
